My Favourite Things About Epicure
I think the reason Epicure is so great is that the founder Sylvie Rochette believed her family would be healthier if they ate whole non-processed foods and began making gluten free seasonings in 1997, in her own kitchen in British Columbia. To this day she, and her daughter Amelia Warren still emphasize their “never ever list” of ingredients that their products do not contain. Amelia was recognized as being one of 40 women under 40 in Canada to run a large company, CEO of Epicure.
As a person with severe unseen health issues since an early age, I was always looking for solutions to make me feel better. Finding out through trial and error over many years that unknown food intolerances was the cause. Cooking my own low-sodium meals with non-processed foods made a major change in my health. Finding Epicure made meal prep so much easier with versatile healthy meal plan ideas.
Here are a few of my favorite things about Epicure:
- They believe everyone deserves good food. They give back through their Buy a Meal, Share a Meal program and have donated over 2 million meals to foodbanks Canada .
- They give back 40% of the Fundraising $25.00 cost to the Cause that is running the program.
- Epic Life Program helps with recipes, shopping lists and preparing food ideas in advance so you are not fighting that last minute madness of “what’s for dinner” stress.
I’d love to hear what you think! What do you love about Epicure?
